To Pack & Bring
To make the most of your stay, here are some ideas of what to pack: come rain or shine…
***All bell tent hires need to bring own Pillows & duvets/sleeping bags
Jurassic Basic bell tent hire must bring own beds / inflatable mattresses too***
- Foot wear – flip flops, walking boots, trainers, wellies
- Clothing – summer and keep cosy with emergency warm / wet layers e.g. pack a mac, socks, slippers, woolly hat as the wind can blow on coastal paths any time of year!
- Fun games. When camping our dad packed a bag of outdoor games for hours of sunshine fun. Bring yours too to enjoy in the fields.
- Camping chairs
- Picnic Rug
- Torches, batteries
- Mobile charger/cable – electric points in The Old Barn to charge
- Beach towels, boards, buckets & spades
- Toiletries, hairbrush, tooth brush/paste, shampoo, shower gel and stuff

For Hire - BBQ & Firepit
- Subject to Availability – Purbeck Comfort Tents can hire BBQ Grill and Jurassic bell tent guests can hire a Fire Pit & BBQ Grill.
- You are welcome to bring your own gas cooker or charcoal BBQ/Firepit if raised off the ground.
- NO wood nor disposable BBQs.
- Please bring charcoal & cooking utensils for BBQ and Fire Pit use

Important Since the devastating fire at Wareham Forest 2020 – council guidance
NO disposable BBQ’s permitted on site.
nb. With this is mind fire pit use will be limited to charcoal or not allowed.
**Do not forage for wood on our private land; this is dangerous and unacceptable and theft can involve Police.**

There are several pubs, restaurants and takeaways in Corfe Mullen (2 Co-op’s, Indian & Fish and Chips takeaways) Broadstone (coffee culture with various cafes/restaurants/Tesco/M&S food store), Lychette Matravers (Tesco express) with larger food stores Tesco and Lidl, Creekmoor, Aldi, Sainsbury, Asda in Poole. However, if you would like to prepare breakfast or make meals during your stay, here’s a list of things to consider bring with you:
- Plates, Pots, Pans, cutlery
- Bin bags
- Lighter and/or matches
- Food & drink – water always good
- Ice blocks, cool box, food storage boxes
- Camping kettle, portable stove, pans
- Condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, tomato sauce/mayonnaise, cooking oil, butter
