Terms & Conditions
- Your booking
1.1. We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings entirely at our discretion. 2025 Promotion – ** Kids Go Free Midweek, with supplement per night weekends Fridays & Saturdays**
1.2. Your contract with Dorset Glamping Fields Ltd begins when you make your booking and receive a confirmation. Your contract with us will be on the terms set out in these terms and conditions.
1.3. All bookings are formally confirmed when you pay the deposit. At the time of booking, full payment is due for bookings made within 7 days.
1.4. You, as the person making the booking, will be responsible for all members of your party. You, as the person in charge of your party, must be at least 21 years old at the time of booking. Group bookings minimum age 25 and require prior approval, see below Group booking section.
1.5. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
1.6. We can only discuss your bookings (including any changes) with you, we cannot discuss the booking with another member of your party unless you give express consent for us to do so.
1.7. Site quite times from 10pm till 8am. Please respect all our guests and neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
1.8. Waste should be placed into the waste bins provided, to support recycling and protect the wildlife. Rubbish should NOT be left in or around your tent and pitch area. Extra charges may apply if you do not comply.
1.9. FIRE HAZARD: Wood burning is not permitted onsite owing to risk of fire and danger to all guests. Do NOT forage from the site and please only use charcoal to prevent flames. No fires, candles nor gas/equipment in or close to tents.
1.10. No kite flying nor climbing, damage to the electricity poles.
1.11. Children must be supervised at all times, using the site facilities and kept away from the boundary fencing, barbed wire and water drainage ditches.
1.12. Weather & Force Majure. Dorset Glamping is not responsible for weather conditions nor associated risks. Each member of your party will decide whether to attend or not. Travel insurance / business insurance is recommended.
1.13. Insects of all variety of wildlife roam freely in the fields, including butterflies, ladybirds, spiders, deer and buzzards above, These are beautiful for everyone to experience and so we ask that you all act responsibly – please do not harm nor litter their environment.
1.14. Each bell tent has a good size outdoor space allocated. If you / your guests group together please keep noise to a minimum, respect quite hours and do NOT move site furniture. Charges could apply for any disturbances. Our aim is to provide a fun and safe environment for everyone to enjoy.
1.15. You may offload and pack by your allocated tent BUT all vehicles / cars must be parked in the car parking area for the duration of your stay.
1.16. Driving onsite is limited to 5mph. Please always be aware of the laned areas of people and children walking and playing.
1.17. No dogs nor pets allowed on site to protect the local wildlife. Anyone who arrives with animal or any description will be asked to leave and no refund will be provided.
1.18. All equipment and services are the property of Dorset Glamping and can not be removed nor damaged. Charges may apply and be the responsibility of the booker accepting all contractual obligations on behalf of accompanying adults and children. Any damage should be reported to the Site Manager / Owner asap. Communications will be with the Group Booker.
1.19. Maximum Numbers: Night stay 21 nights unless otherwise agreed and maximum number of guests per tent: Maximum 2 Adults in each tent, Emperor & Purbeck comfort permits 2 Adults & 2 children (with agreement 1 extra child if parents bring own mattress) Jurassic Bell tent allows 2 Adults & 3 children, bring own inflatable mattresses. eg. If you have a party of 4 adults you will need to book 2 tents of any variety.
1.20. Right to evict / involve the Police should anyone not comply and/or cause issue, harm, damage to other guests, private property and wildlife.
- Paying for your Accommodation
2.1 You must pay us the deposit at the time of booking with payment in full / or the balance is due 7 days prior to arrival.
2.2 All payments are processed online via our partner Stripe via their secure payment process. nb. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security. www.stripe.com
2.2.1 Additional items requested onsite to be paid in cash at the glamping site.
2.3 Promotional offers will only be applied if they are valid and quoted at the time of booking. Promotional offers cannot be combined, nor can they be used retrospectively to apply to existing bookings. In addition, we reserve the right to change or withdraw a promotional offer at any time by amending or removing details of these offers from the relevant sections of our website. Where we are unable to provide you with a discount or offer on your booking due to this offer having been withdrawn or amended, we will communicate with you.
- Pricing the Accommodation
3.1. We periodically review and amend the prices we charge for our Accommodation. For the most up to date pricing information please check the Book Now section of our website. We will confirm the price of your Accommodation at the time you make your booking.
3.2. Promotions and competitions are subject to own conditions and may not be used in conjunction with other promotions.
- If you want to cancel your booking
4.1. Your Accommodation booking is a contract for the provision of glamping leisure services on a specific date or dates and this means that you do not have a statutory right to change your mind and cancel the contract. We do, however, offer you the right to cancel your contract subject to the provisions of this Section 4.
4.2. If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must let us know by email or in writing as soon as possible and, in any event, prior to the first day of your booking. Your booking will be cancelled with effect from the day we receive your email or written notification, subject to us deducting cancellation charges as set out in Section 4.3 below.
4.3. Our cancellation charges are calculated according to the time between when we receive notification from you that you wish to cancel your booking and the start of your booking. Our cancellation charges are set out in the table below:

4.4. If you cancel your booking after the booking start date, we are unable to issue any refund for any remaining nights of your booking. To clarify, this includes where you cancel your booking for any reason outside of your reasonable control, including without limitation, inclement weather and illness. We strongly recommend you take out holiday or business insurance to compensate you in these circumstances.
- Changes to Your Booking
5.1. If you want to change any detail of your confirmed booking you must let us know by email (bookings@dorsetglamping.com) as soon as possible. This includes details such as the number of pitches and the number of guests. You are welcome to call us 07931440340 following your written confirmation has been sent.
5.2. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any request for changes. Please always reach out and discuss as a no show constitutes no refund.
5.3. If we do change your booking, you will be charged an administration fee of £20 to cover the costs we incur in making the change to your booking. You must also pay any additional accommodation costs due as a result of the change – we will confirm or discuss the amount of any additional accommodation costs due. If your accommodation costs are lower as a result of the change, we’ll refund you the difference at the time we change your booking, after deducting the administration fee referred to above.
- If we need to change or cancel your booking
6.1. We do not expect to have to make changes to your booking, however sometimes problems happen, and bookings have to be changed or cancelled. We will only change or cancel your booking:
6.1.1. if necessary to perform or complete essential remedial or refurbishment works; or
6.1.2. for other reasons unforeseen at the time you made your booking which are beyond our reasonable control. This may include occasions where the accommodation becomes inaccessible or due to Severe Weather Conditions & Warnings.
6.2. If we do need to change or cancel your booking for the reason set out, we will do our best to offer you a suitable alternative booking. If we are not able to offer you a suitable alternative, or if you do not accept the alternative we offer, the booking will be deemed cancelled and we will refund you the total amount you have paid us for the booking.
6.3. If we do need to change or cancel your booking for the reasons set out we will not be responsible for any unforeseeable losses you suffer as a result of that change or cancellation, please refer to your holiday insurance policy cover.
6.4. If we do need to change or cancel your booking in line with above because it becomes impossible to deliver the booking due unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control, we’ll do our best to offer you a suitable alternative booking for either the same dates or alternative dates. If you don’t accept the ‘best match’ offered alternative, the booking will be deemed cancelled and fees are charged accordingly with above 4.3.
6.5. It is a condition of your booking that you obtain appropriate travel insurance for all members of your group. This should ideally cover illness, cancellation, property losses and injuries during your stay.
- Special Requests
7.1. Special requests must be requested at the time of booking. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any request.
- Group Bookings
8.1. Group bookings can only be accepted with prior discussion and agreement with Dorset Glamping Fields Ltd. This includes bookings for all groups, including large family or friend groups, must be notified to us and approved by us at the time of booking. We are a boutique family site and are not suitable for stag, hen, weddings or large birthday parties UNLESS you hire all accommodation for the duration of your stay and over 25 (children can accompany adults). If you want to use the Site for such a group, you must contact us and tell us prior to booking and obtain our prior agreement so that we can consider providing the best glamping experience for you and our other booked guests. Group Cancellation notice 14 days required or 100% fee charged.
8.2. Please note that if you fail to comply with our rules on group bookings as set out in this Section 8 we may need to exercise “Our right to evict”.
